Healthy Amla Juice
One of easy to make & most healthy juice. Amla (deseeded), ginger (peeled), lemon juice, curry leaves, salt & water will be blended together and strained. This juice will be appealing in color and good for health. Amla is known for its anti-aging property if we consume this juice daily we will see the result in weeks.
Ingredients
- Amla – Amla is the base of this juice. We replace amla with healthy fruits like Orange, Grape Fruit, Sweet lime or with vegetables like Beetroot, Carrot.
- Ginger – Ginger will induce a light spiciness to the juice and helps in good digestion.
- Salt – Salt is added to enhance the taste of the juice.
- Lemon Juice – Lemon juice is added to give a sour taste to the juice. If the fruit we replace with is already of sour taste, adjust the quantity of lemon juice accordingly.
- Curry Leaves – A healthy ingredient as we see earlier. This is the best way of including raw curry leaves in our diet. It improves the goodness of our juice. This will convert our juice to an ABC juice.
How to make Amla Juice?
- Cut amla and deseed it.
- In a mixer jar, add chopped amla, curry leaves, ginger (peeled and chopped), salt and 1 cup of water. Grind well so that no full pieces will remain.
- Strain it using a fine colander so that no residue will settle at the bottom.
- Add lemon juice and mix well. If you need more lemon juice and salt you may add so that no separate taste will dominate. Now enjoy your healthy tasty amla juice.
Tips
Don’t add too much off water as you may not feel the goodness of amla. Don’t add too much of lemon juice otherwise the juice will taste like lemonade. Add ginger so as to enhance the taste of the juice; not to dominate;
