Beet Root is one of the very nutritious vegetable which gives you lots of health benefits like improve immunity, heart & lung health and your stamina level. It is rich in folate, vitamin A, vitamin C and lot more nutrients.

The nitrates in beetroots help to lower your blood pressure and hence helps in reducing the risk of heart diseases and stroke. It is a sweet helper to weight watchers. We stop here of saying Why we need to eat Beet Roots?and make a healthy as well as tasty juice out of it.

Ingredients

  1. Beetroot – 1 small
  2. Ginger – ½ inch piece
  3. Salt – to taste
  4. Lemon Juice – 2 teaspoons
  5. Coriander Leaves – few

How to make Tasty Beetroot Juice?

Peel off the outer skin of beetroot and cut it into smaller pieces.

In a mixer jar, add chopped beetroot, ginger (peeled and chopped), salt and water. Grind well so that no pieces will remain.

Strain it using a fine colander so that no residue will settle at the bottom.

Add lemon juice and mix well. If you need more lemon juice and salt you may add (no separate taste will dominate). Now enjoy your healthy tasty juice.

Tips

1. Don’t add too much off water as you may not feel the goodness of beet root.
2. Add only 2 to 3 teaspoons of lemon juice otherwise the juice will taste like lemonade.
3. Add ginger so as to enhance the taste of the juice; not to dominate;

  1. Take peeled and diced Beetroot pieces, ginger, salt & water in a blender and blend well.

  2. Filter it with a fine colander so as to remove all residues. Now add lemon juice as per taste. Tada! Our Pinky Pinky is ready to enjoy.

  3. You may garnish with chopped coriander leaves if you wish.
