- Pepper - Pepper is the only spice added to the soup.
- Jeera/ Cumin Seeds - Jeera will give a nice flavor to the soup. Also helps in digestion.

How to make Moringa Soup?
In a pan add cooked toor dal and 2 cups of water and bring them to boil.
Now add, cleaned (don't remove its finer stems) Moringa Leaves into it and cook till the leaves cooked well. If you add moringa powder then add the powder and let it boil for 2 minutes.
In a mixer jar, add pepper, jeera and fennel seeds and grind them to a slightly coarse powder. Add this to the cooked moringa leaves and mix well.  Add salt to taste. Let the soup to combine well with the spice powder and salt (cook for 5 minutes after adding salt and spice).
Add coriander leaves and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy your hot healthy soup.
Tips
- Cook the leaves in an open pan otherwise the leaves will change to a dark color instead of a fresh green color.
- Add pepper according to your spiciness.
- Cook the leaves well otherwise the soup tastes a slight bitter.
