Health Benefits of Broken Wheat

Ingredients                           - 1 cup Broken Wheat - 1 cup diced Vegies - 1 large Onion - 1 Medium Tomato - 2 Medium Green Chilies - 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 piece Whole garam masala - 1 tsp Curd - 1 tsp Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Once it becomes hot, add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and Kalpasi.

After 2 seconds, add green chilies and sliced onions. Saute for a minute.

Now add (finely chopped) carrot, (finely chopped) beans and green peas.  Saute for 1 minute and add ginger-garlic paste.  Saute for 1 minute..

Then add mint leaves and coriander leaves. Mix well.Then add finely chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.

Now add Chili powder and coriander powder.  Mix well. Add curd and mix well. Let the oil separates. Add water and bring it to boil.  Add salt to taste.

When the water starts boiling add broken wheat and mix well. Now add lemon juice and mix.  Cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook for 2 whistles in low flame. Leave it till the pressure gets released by itself.
