How to make Poori Masala Healthy and Tasty?

Peas-Potato Masala

Are you making the same potato masala with poories all the time? Then try out this peas -potato  masala once and it steels the heart.

Poori masala is an iconic south Indian side dish for puffy poories. Recipe varies through regions. Restaurants use their own style and uniqueness. Here is my style of poori masala.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Peas 1 number Potato 1 number Onion 1 Small Tomato 2 Cloves Garlic 2 number Green Chillies Whole Garam Masalas Curry Leaves and Coriander Leaves

Pressure Cooking...

Cook Peas and Potatoes till soft. If you use fresh green peas then add it while sauteing onions. If you use soaked dried peas then pressure cook till soft.

Sauteing...

Heat oil in a pan. Add all the seasoning ingredients and let it fry for a second. Then add chopped onions and garlic. Saute till light brown.

Sauteing...

Now add chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.

Add cooked peas and potato. Add salt to taste. Mix well and let it simmer till required consistency.  Garnish with chopped coriander and curry leaves.
